  1. just returned home from a reunion committee meeting and we are planning a great weekend. For those of you who came back for the 30th, expect more of the same and more!
As I reflect on our past 3 reunions, at the 10th everyone came back and tried to impress each other with what we had accomplished in our careers 20th more of the same but we included the accomplishments of our immediate family members, at the 30th no one cared. People came back to meet with old friends, to laugh, share a special time or moment in time during a unique time in our lives. So I encourage all you wildcatters whereever you are or whatever you are into, come back this summer and for a weekend relive 1970 and all the magic that came with being 18. hope to see you at centennial Terrace on the 30th.

  2. Looking for my love beads, Beatles and bell bottoms! I'm pretty excited about seeing everyone and at Centennial, no less! ( my first job. You all know I stamped your hands and gave you free food). See you soon to party like it's 1970 (and '71 and '72)!!

  3. Hello Wildcats….it is time to blog, our second favorite four lettered word activity and the only one, no thanks to father time, that we can accomplish to fruition. The reunion is going to be large with a Friday night prediction of over 300 and Saturday night pegged at over 200 souls. The golf tournament is drawing a great deal of attention. Attorney Mark Spix is providing the prizes and rumor holds that he will be doling out more gold than Jean Valjean lifted in Les Miserables. Far be it for us to look a gift ambulance in the mouth, our thanks to Mark. The golf tournament is very winnable and we are making the appropriate plans. On Friday night at Centennial after he has a couple of cocktails we will “Tonya Harding” Don Lowe. Having showered with my fellow football players, Jim Murphey, John Hall, and Arthur Lewis, there is no way they win, their putters are too short! That leaves Bobby Conroy (congratulations on being inducted into the Sylvania Athletic Hall of Fame) and his basketball teammates. Golf is a cerebral game-sorry roundballers, there is always Alice Strong Charlton’s Marguerita golf cart for consolation. Lastly, the reunion committee is a well oiled machine. The girls are doing all the work, John Hall and Jim Murphey are taking all the credit and I remain your humble and obedient servant – Peter Poll
